Eggless Double Chocolate-Chip Cookies!
Hi Guys! I love these Double Chocolate-Chip Cookies, and they are so easy to make. Cookie batter (well, dough actually) isn't liquidy or smooth. It's like a dough you can roll out, like a solid dough. So don't worry if yours comes out like that, because that's actually perfect. This recipe will only take up 20 minutes of your time, and is made so easily too! They have a soft, warm inside with a crispy edge!
Important Note- Do not bake your cookies for more than 12 minutes.
I guarantee they will burn if you do bake them for more than 12 minutes😬😀. I made that mistake once. Though, you can probably do up to a maximum of 13 minutes at risk, depending upon your microwave/oven. But keep checking every two minutes just in case! So, let's get started with these warm, melt-in-the-mouth treats!!!!! :)
Serves- 6-9 People
Preparation Time- 2 minutes
Cooking Time- 18 minutes
Total Time- 20 minutes
Ingredients-
All-Purpose Flour/Maida - 3/4 Cup
Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened - 1/4 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
Butter (Unsalted) - 1/4 Cup (At Room Temperature)
Milk - 3 Tablespoon
Salt - 1/4 Teaspoon (A Big Pinch)
Chocolate-Chips - 3-5 Tablespoons
Note- If you are using Salted Butter, then skip the additional Salt.
Instructions-
- Take a deep bowl and add Butter, Sugar, and Milk to it.
- Whip it with an electric whisk for about 2-3 minutes on high, till it becomes creamy and light. (For this step, I used a spatula and just mixed it really well manually😝😄).
- Sieve in the Flour, Cocoa Powder, Baking Soda, and Salt to this mixture. Sieving it will give a smoother and finer texture. Now add in the Chocolate-Chips.
- Mix this mixture slowly, till all the ingredients are well combined into a dough.
- Transfer this dough to a plastic container or bag and refrigerate for at least half an hour. (I refrigerated mine for an hour so it would set better and form a soft dough).
- You can leave it in the refrigerator for a longer time or until you are ready to bake.
- Take the cold dough out and divide it into balls. (It's fine if they aren't equal).
- Take each ball into your palm and flatten it gently in your palm. The cookies will expand while baking. Preheat your oven (I used my microwave) to 350F or 180C.
- Line a baking tray with baking sheets (parchment/butter paper). For this step, I took my baking tray and brushed it with oil instead.
- Place your flattened balls on the baking sheet 2 inches apart from each other as they need space to expand. You can also sprinkle a few Chocolate-Chips on top too.
- Bake for 10 minutes for soft cookies and 12 minutes for slightly crispier cookies. Once you take the cookies out, let them cool completely before eating.
- When you take them out, you may notice the middle is soft and looks like it is unbaked. Do not overbake your cookies. Mine looked unbaked too but after cooling they turned out great.
- They taste best when they are warm, and firms up more during/after cooling.
- They store well in an airtight container after cooling. Stores upto few weeks (Refrigerate).
- ENJOY!!!!! :)
