The Most Amazing Super Easy Eggless Vanilla Cake!
Hi Guys! This Vanilla Cake has a soft and moist texture. It also tastes very good and so it makes for a good base for making Cream Cakes. Very easy to make, and healthy and Eggless! This cake isn't plain but actually amazing and the flavor is very fine. This Cake is probably the best to use when making a large cake or pastry. This Cake would be a great celebration cake with Frosting, Ganaches or Glazes! My amazing Strawberry Jam Glaze goes so good with this, be sure to check that out too! Serves- 3-6 People
Preparation Time- 5 minutes
Cooking Time- 40 minutes
Total Time- 45 minutes
Ingredients-
All Purpose Flour/Maida - 1 and a 1/2 Cups
Baking Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - A Pinch
Water - 1/2 Cup
Melted Butter/Oil - 1/2 Cup
Sugar - 3/4 Cup (Add More If Required)
Yogurt/ Curd + Water - 4 Tablespoons Curd + 1 Tablespoon Water
Apple Cider Vinegar/White Vinegar - 1 Tablespoon
Baking Soda - 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla Extract - 1 Teaspoon
The substitute for 1 Tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar / 1 Tablespoon White Vinegar is 1 Tablespoon Lime Juice. To make the Cake less sweet, then add only 1/2 Cup Sugar.
Instructions-
- First sift the All Purpose Flour/Maida, Baking Powder and Salt in a mixing bowl/pan.
- Keep everything ready as you have to mix the Batter quickly.
- Take the Warm/Slightly Hot Butter in a small bowl and add the Sugar to it. Mix well and keep aside.
- In another small bowl, mix together to the Yogurt/Curd + Water mixture until it's smooth.
- Then add the Vinegar to this and stir, then the Baking Powder and stir well again.
- Now add the Butter + Sugar Mixture, the Yogurt/Curd + Water mixture, and the 1/2 Cup of Water into the Sieved Flour mixture.
- Add the Vanilla Extract and mix quickly the lump-free Batter quickly. Don't over mix and pour the Batter into a Cake Pan/Tin that had been greased with Butter or Oil.
- Tap the Cake Pan/Tin to release air bubbles and preheat your Oven/Microwave at 180C.
- After preheating, Bake the Vanilla Cake for 30 minutes. Keep adding 5 minute at a time until the Cake passes the toothpick test.
- Doing it 5 minutes a time will prevent the Cake from hardening or burning.
- If the Vanilla Cake browns too quickly on the top then cover the top with an Aluminium Foil or Butter Paper.
- Let the Cake cool down for about 10 minutes, and then remove it from the Cake PanTin.
- You can apply Frostings or Glazes after the Cake has cooled completely, otherwise serve warm. I have lots of recipe posted for different Frostings, Ganaches and Glazes too! I used Frosting on mine!
