10 Minute Eggless Easy and Quick Bechamel (White) Sauce!
Hi Guys! This recipe is for a quick and easy Bechamel Sauce! Bechamel Sauce is a rich white Sauce infused with herbs and other flavorings. It is originally made from All Purpose Flour/Maida, Butter and Milk. It's rich and fine, and this Sauce can go with Pasta, Lasagna, Baked Mushrooms with Spinach, Bechamel Sauced Veggies... this Bechamel/White Sauce can go with and used in a lot of food! I've posted quite a lot of recipes using White Sauce too. You can use this recipe as a topping as well! Enjoy this Easy and Quick Bechamel Sauce infused with Healthy Herbs and Rich Flavorings!!!!! :)
Serves- Makes about 2-4 Cups
Preparation Time- 2 minutes
Cooking Time- 8 minutes
Total Time- 10 minutes
Ingredients-
Butter - 2-3 Tablespoons
All Purpose Flour/Maida - 3 Tablespoons
Milk - 1 Cup
Oregano - 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt - To Taste
Cheese - (OPTIONAL)
Instructions-
- In a pot/pan, heat the Butter and let it melt. Now add the All Purpose Flour/Maida, and keep mixing making sure they're are no lumps. (This will take 2-3 minutes on low-medium flame).
- Add the Milk and continuously mix. You can also add Cheese.
- The flame should be on low, and now add the Oregano and Salt to taste. Mix it well.
- Your White Sauce should be ready, and keep aside to cool down. If your Sauce isn't ready, you can let it cook and mix it for a few more minutes. Refrigerate if to use/eat later.
