Super easy, and not much time is taken. This bread goes great with Lemonade, a recipe I have already posted too! Overripe bananas are perfect for Banana Bread recipes: they have an extremely organic and healthy sweet taste; guilt-free eating! Let's get started!!!!! :)
Serves- 6-15
Preparation Time- 5 minutes
Cooking Time- (About) 45 minutes
Total Time- (About) 50 minutes
Ingredients-
(Chopped) Bananas - 2 (Chopped Bananas) OR 1 and 1/3 Cup (Chopped Bananas)
Sugar - 6 Tablespoons
Vanilla Extract - 1/2-1 Teaspoon
Milk - 1/4 Cup
Oil - 1/4 Cup
Whole Wheat Flour - A little more than 1 Cup
Baking Powder - 1 Teaspoon
Baking Soda - 1/4 Teaspoon
Ground Cinnamon - 1/4 Teaspoon (Optional, but Preferred)
Salt - 1 Pinch
Chocolate Chips - About 6 Tablespoons
Instructions-
- In a bowl, mash the Bananas and Sugar very well. You can also do this step in a blender.
- Next, add the Oil, Milk, and Vanilla Extract. Mix well.
- Sift in the Whole Wheat Flour, Salt, Baking Soda, Baking Powder, and Cinnamon (OPTIONAL) in the mixture. Add the Chocolate Chips too, and mix very well.
- Mixing well is important in this recipe, but do not over mix. You can also add Seeds, Nuts, etc. as toppings. I added Nuts, Chocolate Chips, and Poppy Seeds to mine: it gave a flavorful crunch.
- Preheat your oven to 180C. (I used my microwave).
- Grease a (Loaf) pan/tin with Oil. Pour your mixture in. Tap the (Loaf) pan/tin a few times to release air bubbles. I used a square tin instead.
- Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until it passes the toothpick test.
- Let it cool a while, and serve warm. Refrigerate if to eat later.
- ENJOY!!!!! :)
My Banana Bread: It didn't stick to the pan at all and came out easily.
