Paneer Tikka!!! (20 Minutes Only!)
Hi Guys! This is a very exotic recipe... delicious and rich! If you have guests coming over, this recipe will definitely blow their minds. Literally. It is that good. When I make it, I like adding Potato pieces, and i love eating that more even than the paneer pieces itself. But you could have a different perception. I also make my own homemade Tandoori Masala. This recipe is actually a homemade recipe that we tried at home with our own measurements and making. This is a special family recipe for my family. This recipe calls for a Tandoor, but you can make it on the tawa to, but you will have to put in your own judgement... Anyways, let's start with this delicious snack, dinner or lunch dish!!!!! :)

Turmeric (Haldi) - 1/4 Teaspoon
Oil - 1 Tablespoon
Tandoori Masala - 1 Tablespoon (Either Put The Tandoori Masala OR The Garam Masala)
Garam Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon Masala + Chat Masala... Don't Put all Three!)
Chat Masala - 1/2 Teaspoon -x-
Salt - 1 and a 1/4 Teaspoon, Or To Taste
Dry Fenugreek Leaves - 1 Tablespoon (Kasoori Methi)
Degi Mirch - 1/2 Teaspoon
Chaat Masala - Some To Sprinkle On Top
Instructions-
- Beat the Yogurt (Dahi) Till Smooth. Add all the Ingredients to the Yogurt. Let it sit in the Muslin Cloth (Marinate) for 4 Hours. (I let mine set in the fridge).
- (After 4 Hours), At serving time, grease the non-stick tawa. Place the Paneer Pieces on it. Place the tawa on high rack and grill the paneer for 8 minutes. Turn side once in between. If you want, you can also try it in a Microwave or Oven.
- OR
- Take the entire mixture, mix a little, and scoop some out on a flat spread-out foil piece. Spread it around, and place it in your Tandoor. If your Tandoor comes with a special sheet to make on, place your foil on top of that sheet. Let it rest, but keep checking on it. After a few minutes, flip all the pieces of Paneer, Potato, etc. And all the veggies inside. Let it cook for a few more minutes, but make sure it doesn't burn. After it's done, take the foil out, and set another piece of foil inside with the mixture on it. Take the pieces off the first foil... It's Done!
- (NEXT STEP)
- If the Tikkas are not golden brown, grill for 1-2 minutes more?Cook it in the Tandoor for 1-2 minutes more. Serve hot with sprinkled Chaat Masala.
- (My Paneer Tikka Picture, done in a Tandoor. I also added Onion, Capsicum and Potato... I think I enjoyed the Veggies more than the Paneer Pieces, but you may like the Paneer Pieces More!!!!! :) )
- ENJOY!!!!! :)
