Eggless Marble Cake! 2 Cakes, 1 Recipe!Vegan Solution Given!
Hi Guys! I haven't posted in a while.. sorry! Being caught up in school, homework, family friends and Soccer, I didn't get a chance to post or bake much... So I made this recipe to chillax, and decided to post it too! You can customize your own too, and I added a few chocolate-chips, cause I absolutely love Chocolate-Chips! Who doesn't? This recipe has 2 flavours... classic and sweet! And, the vegan solution is given in the end too! So, let's start this recipe with ingredients that can literally be found in anyone's home!!!!! :) #classicduo
Serves- 5-7 People
Preparation Time- 5 minutes
Cook Time- 55 minutes
Total Time- 1 hour
Ingredients-
Vanilla Cake Batter-
(Fresh) Curd/Yogurt - 1/2 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Oil - 1/4 Cup
Vanilla Extract - 1 Teaspoon
Maida/All Purpose Flour - 1 Cup
Baking Soda - A Pinch
Baking Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt - A Pinch
Water - 2 Tablespoons
Chocolate Cake Batter-
(Fresh)Curd/Yogurt - 1/2 Cup
Sugar - 1/2 Cup
Oil - 1/4 Cup
Vanilla Extract - 1 Teaspoon
Maida/All Purpose Flour - 3/4 Cup
Cocoa Powder - 1/4 Cup
Baking Soda - A Pinch
Baking Powder - 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt - A Pinch
Water - 2 Tablespoons
Instructions-
- For the Vanilla Cake Batter, take all the ingredients into a large bowl and mix well.
- For the Chocolate Cake Batter, again take all the ingredients in a large bowl and mix well.
- Take a Cake Tin. The best part... No need to grease it!
- Preheat your oven (I used my microwave!) to 180C.
- Scoop 2 Spoons of Vanilla Cake Batter into the middle. Now, scoop 2 Spoons of Chocolate Batter onto the Vanilla Cake Batter.
- Repeat Step 4 until you have used up all your batter. There should be a circular kind of design, like the Chocolate and Vanilla Cake Batter should have 'rings'.
- Take a toothpick, knife, (back of a ) spoon, or any thin item, make a nice design (I did Zig-Zags) without disturbing the layers.
- Pat the tray a couple times- to remove air bubbles in the batter, and to make it a little even.
- Place your Cake tin in the preheated oven (I used my microwave!). Bake it at 180C for 50 Minutes. Mine took 40 Minutes only, but it's ok if yours takes more or less time.
- IMPORTANT- Only cut the cake after it has cooled completely. If you cut it immediately, the cake will crack and texture will not be as smooth as it will be if you wait.
- Cut into thick slices, and if to store, store in an airtight container.
- NOTE- Yours might turn out soggy if the instructions are not done properly. The first time I made this cake, It came out a little soggy... 🤣🤣🤣
- If you are vegan, you can replace the curd with 1 Teaspoon Vinegar!
- ENJOY!!!!!
The Batter-
This (Pictures) is the first Marble Cake I ever made!
I even added Chocolate-Chips!
