Veggie Pizza (In 20 Minutes Only!)
Hi Guys! This recipe is super easy, a beginner chef can easily do this recipe with perfection! I absolutely love this recipe, and i like it more than ordered pizza from a restaurant. You can also try out my Recipes for- A Whole Wheat Vegan Pizza Dough, a Vegan Pizza Sauce, a Paneer Pizza and a Margherita Pizza! If you want, you can add your own touch-ups to it, your own toppings too! You can also make it thin crust! All my recipes are Vegan and Eggless, so don't worry! By the way, I have a Tandoor, and I made my Pizzas in the tandoor. I alternated the recipe a little... But that's ok, because I loved my touch-up! Before the Tandoor, I used to use the tawa, on the gas... You can use that too! So let's get started!
Serves- Makes 2 Pizzas (About 6-8 People)
Preparation Time- 5 minutes
Cooking Time- 15 minutes
Total Time- 20 minutes
Ingredients-
Mozzarella or Pizza Cheese (Grated) - 1-1 and a 1/2 Cup (100G-150G)
Onion - 1/2 (Cut into 1/2 Inch Squares)
Yellow or Green Capsicum - 1/2 (Cut into 1/2 Inch Squares)
Olives - A Few
Tomatoes - 1, Cut into 8 Pieces
Ready-Made Pizza Bases - 2
You can also use my posted recipe for Pizza Dough.. Whole Wheat, Eggless and Vegan!
For The Tomato Spread-
Oil - 1 Tablespoon
Garlic Paste - 1 Teaspoon
Ready-Made Tomato Puree - 1/2 Cup
Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tablespoon
Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper - 1/4 Teaspoon
Ready-Made Tomato Puree - 1/2 Cup
Tomato Ketchup - 2 Tablespoon
Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
Salt - 1/2 Teaspoon
Pepper - 1/4 Teaspoon
You can also use my posted recipe for a Vegan Pizza Sauce!
Instructions-
- For the Tomato Spread, put all of the ingredients of the Tomato Spread in a bowl and microwave for 2 and a 1/2 minutes, Or you can use my posted recipe for a Vegan Pizza Sauce.
- Spread on each ready-made Pizza Base, leaving the edges, Or you can use my posted recipe for a Whole Wheat Vegan Pizza Dough.
- Arrange some vegetables, and sprinkle some Salt and Pepper. Sprinkle Cheese and some Oregano. Place the Pizza on the low rack.
- Put the Pizza in the oven preheated at 230C and bake for 8 minutes. Alternately, you can use the grill mode also. (I used my tandoor! You can also do this recipe in a microwave.)
- First brush the bottom of the Pizza Base with Oil and grill with bottom side up on the greased tawa placed on a high rack for 3 minutes till crisp.
- Put the Tomato Spread and then the Toppings. Grill again for 4 minutes.
- Refrigerate if to eat later.
