1 Minute Eggless Chocolate Mug Cake!
Hi guys! This is my first post, so thanks to all reading it. I know, I know, I won't take much of your time, and I will get straight to the cut.
But first, let me tell you something. When I started this blog, I was only twelve. And I'm really happy with the way it turned out: Thus success it is today! And that's all because of generous people like you who visit my blog (maybe even daily!), post comments, like, and share. Thank you so much, I really appreciate your efforts <3.
Now, back to this wonderful recipe: it's so easy to make and so delicious; just like my entire collection of mug cake posts on this blog! It's a beginner recipe, so don't worry if you're not a great baker: You can still enjoy plenty of the easy delights on my blog! :)
Serves- 1 person
Preparation time- 2 minutes
Cooking time- 1 minute
Total time- 3-5 minutes
(Yours might take more time to bake!)
Ingredients-
Maida/All-Purpose Flour - 2 Tablespoons
Cooking Oil - 1 Tablespoon {Olive Oil/Refined Oil works too}
Milk - 2 and a 1/2 tablespoon
Baking Powder - 1/4 Teaspoon
Sugar - 2 Tablespoons
Cocoa Powder - 1 and a 1/2 Teaspoon
Vanilla Essence - A few drops
Salt - A Pinch
Chocolate chips, too - 1-2 Tablespoons {Optional Ingredient}
Instructions-
- In a Mug, take all the dry ingredients. Mix well. Then add the oil, milk, and vanilla essence. Mix thoroughly without lumps, and the sugar should dissolve completely.
- Check for taste and add more sugar if needed.
- Check the bottom of the mug by scraping and mixing. Check if there is some mixture on the spoon. If there is in either, remove it and mix well as there may be powder or maida/ all-purpose flour under it.
- Mix well again, the batter should be thick but not too thick.
- Microwave for 1 minute. The mug cake will rise to the top and it may deflate. Check with a toothpick. If it comes out clean, your cake is done. Otherwise, keep it for another 10-20 seconds (This depends on the watt power of your microwave so add time slowly as you don't want to burn your mug cake). It should take approximately 1 minute.
- After taking it out, stud in a few chocolate chips (If you prefer melted chocolate chips in your mug cake, stud them in before you place the mug cake's batter in the microwave to bake).
- ENJOY!
NOTES
- As it is an instant cake, serve immediately when warm.
- Make sure you mix the batter well without lumps.
