Peanut Butter n' Jelly Oatmeal in a Mug!
Hi Guys! This Breakfast In A Mug has everything you need to kick start your day. Packed with protein, slow energy releasing carbs and some fruity sweetness. In my opinion, it really is a complete breakfast. Now, you’ll never have to buy those packets of quick oats again since now you know the quicker, healthier way to make oatmeal. Let's start with this healthy treat!!!!! :)
Serves- 1 Person
Preparation Time- 1 minute
Cooking Time- 4 minutes
Total Time- 5 minutes
Ingredients-
Rolled Oats - 3 Tablespoons
Water - 6 Tablespoons
Milk - 2 Tablespoons
Peanut Butter - 2 Teaspoons
(Strawberry) Jelly/ Jam - 2 Teaspoons
Instructions-
- Mix all the ingredients together in a large microwavable mug.
- Microwave for 60 seconds, then stop to stir in between. Microwave for another minute, then stop and stir again. Repeat this process until it is fully cooked.
- This stirring will stop it overheating and spilling over in your microwave. It will take roughly 3 minutes to cook in total.
- Take it out of the microwave and add in a bit of extra Milk if it is too thick.
- Top with Peanut Butter and Jelly for extra taste. Topping with cream is delicious too.
- Refrigerate if to eat later.
